Theresa Martin Snyder, LMT, E-RYT-200, Owner, Coach, Instructor

Theresa is owner and creator of Kharma Life Center. As a Wellness Expert, Yoga Instructor and Licensed Massage Therapist, she brings 30 years of knowledge and experience to her wellness philosophy and practice.

Graduating Magna Cum Laude with a BA in interior design, Theresa loves creating harmonious, balanced environments, supportive of the end user.  Being a healing arts practitioner, she finds the same elements of balance, harmony, space and magical transformations to be active principles throughout all of life.

Theresa began her massage career at the Honolulu School of Massage in 1993.  Since then she has gained extensive knowledge and experience in all areas of massage. In 2005 she opened Massage Matters, Inc; a brick and mortar store supplying wellness practitioners the products they require in their businesses.  after spending twenty-five years passionately pursuing her own yoga practice, she became a certified yoga instructor in 2012, thus deepening her appreciation of this ancient healing art and science.

Self-empowerment and understanding one’s own healing potential are cornerstones of Theresa’s philosophy.  Her full, rich life and passion for living spills over into every aspect of her life, including her practice.  Students and clients automatically sense her presence and expertise, and leave their yoga and massage sessions with a greater appreciation of their own healing powers.

Kharma Life Center has long been a seed nurturing in Theresa’s imagination.  Armed with a business plan and much ambition, she persevered until such time that she could coalesce dreams into reality. In November, 2015, Kharma Life Center was born; a nearly 3000 square foot facility with the goal of offering people of all persuasions, ideologies, and abilities a place to gather and explore health, wellness, and community.

Theresa places a high priority on dignity of life issues, healthy aging, and independent living.  She volunteers regularly and believes strongly in advocating for older adults and their families as they cope with the challenges related to aging.

When not engaged in her business, Theresa loves to hike, laugh, be with the people who matter most to her and explore Arizona's hidden treasures.
